I was able to get a sneak peak at the new Michael Jordan's Gatorade Championship Brand that will be debuting in stores across the country soon.
I think most would agree that the two brands you immediately think of when you think of MJ are Nike and Gatorade, so bringing him back into the fold is a no brainer in my opinion.
The "I WANT TO BE LIKE MIKE" Gatorade campaign was one if not the greatest campaign of all time.
The Championship Brand goes a different route it is more of historical look of what makes a Champion on and off the court.
Each bottle relates a story of perseverance and determination by Jordan to show what set him apart from the pact.
For instance on the Championship Blue bottle it retells the story of how Jordan didn't make his high school varsity team on the first try, but how they just drove him to be an even more determined player and he would go on to become a high school legend.
There is the story of the infamous NBA Finals game against Utah when while battling the flu still lead the Bulls to a must win victory. It even ventures off the court where Jordan success is as great as it was on the court.
The Michael Jordan Gatorade Championship Brand is about not just athletes but normal people who are willing to go that extra mile to achieve greatness and who is better to pitch greatness than the greatest basketball player that ever lived.
The King is back.
