Lets do so math and you tell me if this adds up:
1- Player gets elbowed in the throat
2- Player that gets elbowed gets called for a foul
3- Player that gets called for the foul ask ref why seeing that he was elbowed in the throat
4- After refs ignore player, player confronts player who elbowed him basically saying don't do it again.
5- Player who got elbowed, wronged on a foul called gets ejected.
Yeah that makes perfect sense doesn't it and I don't want to hear about Ron Artest history. Kobe has a history of being charged for rape do we bring that up every time he does something suspect?
You are suppose to ref the game fairly and this was blatantly unfair to the Rockets and Artest.
Only adds up if you are Ron Artest. Horrible job by the refs. Joey Crawford should have ejected himself from the game for his atrocious officiating.
Refs don't see the elbow, ref's see artest getting in someones face like the thug from years back, insta ejection. Bitch about them missing a call don't act like Artest didn't deserve the ejection. If he gets in anyones face like that ever for the rest of his career its an ejectionPERIOD

I mean, sure, two of the refs were out of position to make the call...so what was the baseline ref up to?

Whether anyone can call this part baised remains to be seen. And Lakers fans had better shut their mouths. An ejection was called for because of what Ron Artest did suring the game. But a) Shut The Fuck Up about Artests history, that just proves that you are baised (you wouldnt dare mention kobe's history would you???) and b) a player cannot swing an elbow at another player in order to gain position, no matter where it hit artest. The call was pure BULLSHIT! Kobe's play was BULLSHIT! And if he can get away with this, then this entire league and sport is MF BULLSHIT!!!

And yet you are conveniently forgetting a little thing about Ron Artest's history:
With Kobe it was off the court so it has and should have no bearing on anything on it unless its something that happened on the court.
Artest OTOH went into the stands and beat up a fan and ended up getting suspended for the rest of the season because of it.
That was on the court in the middle of a game.
So yes Artest is a victim of his past history but he created that.

That being said that elbow wasn't really that bad its in the middle of the play and if Rondo can get away with throwing Hinrich through the scorer's table. Why should anyone be outraged by this?

I recall last week Kirk Heinrich went after Rondo after being slung into the table and actually made body contact and was alot more aggressive and all he got a was a technical foul. Not once did the commentators talk about him retaliating but spent the entire time talking about what rondo did. Now its amazing that Artest was ejected for talking to Kobe when many players jaw at each other. If I were Artest I would get a money's worth ejection the next game and elbow Kobe straight in his nose.
And honestly that's all Heinrich should've gotten since Rondo was the one who first flung him to the table.
I don't think Kobe or Artest should be suspended or ejected it wasn't that bad people act as if they've never seen this type of play in the NBA before. In the 80's this was nothing. The NBA has gotten soft.

IM in The Cen Tex I remember Manu blocking a Kobe shot than Kobe hitting manu in the head and getting suspended - I was seating in the Staple center and saw Mike Bibby Head foul Kobes elbow in Lake Sac playoffs - I seen poor AAron Mkey and Doug Christi foul Kobe with there heads also - let Bruce Bowen get him Again !!!! Last night perfectly exemplified why I can't stand Kobe nor the ref's who call the games when Kobe is on his home court. The referees are the ones who should be suspended. And Robert, Artest is not crazy. It is almost like you and others in the league want him to be the man he was five years ago. You want a bad guy so that you can continue to spout Kobe as some sort of good guy, even though he's the dirtiest player in the league, cheats on his wife and likes to rough fock hotel help. No wonder Jordan is his idol.

Kobe had him boxed out, but Ron shoved his way inside, using his arm on kobe's neck and his knees to move kobe's leg. Kobe should have been called for a foul, but I don't think he even hit Ron in the throat. He hit him a below the throat, and it even seems that way too. If he was honestly hit in the throat with that quick an elbow, he would've been clutching for breath regardless of how tough he is.
