Since the Michael Jordan era ended, there may not be any more revered man in the sport of basketball than the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James. He's big, strong and athletic like maybe no one else in any sport in history. His half-court heroics are no longer legendary, but commonplace.
All of this is not the beginning of James' ascension into our hearts and minds. No, that was a few years ago, while he was in high school at St. Vincent St. Mary in Akron, OH. Kristopher Belman is the lucky man that documented James' beginning, as well as several of his teammates at SVSM.
More after the jump...
Except, More Than A Game is not just about LeBron. It's actually more about his coach, Dru Joyce, who left corporate America to find his place in life, and found quite a bit more at SVSM.
If you'd like to see the trailer and more about the film, click here. So far, reviews of Belman's first documentary have been great. You don't have to like basketball to enjoy this film.
It will be released in LA, NYC, Cleveland and Akron on October 2.

Heard about this. Like the way Lebron took care of his boys
