According to the Buffalo News, Donte Whitner was tasered and arrested at the House of Blues in Cleveland early this morning. Apparently this was a "near riot" that broke out in the street in front of the establishment. He faces possible charges of aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He's in the Cleveland City jail right now and faces possible jail time and fines if convicted. Here's even more information about the party he attended:
Police said that a birthday party was underway at the House of Blues for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr., who also is from Cleveland. The House of Blues is a chain of music halls and restaurants founded in 1992 by Hard Rock Cafe founder Isaac Tigrett and his friend and investor, Dan Aykroyd. It is located at Euclid and East 4th Street in Cleveland's entertainment district, and is a home for live music and Southern-inspired cuisine.
Honestly no good comes of going to parties early in the morning. I'm not saying don't have a life I'm saying be careful. Add that to the recent suspension of Marshawn Lynch and the recent arrest of Ko Simpson if this keeps up the Bills may become the Bengals off the field. Since Whitner was arrested before back in 2006, dont' be surprised if Roger Goodell may considering punishing him as well.
