I have a message for Jay Cutler:
Players get traded. Players get benched. Players get cut.
It is the business of the NFL and it doesn't matter if you are Brett Favre or Donovan McNabb it can happen to anyone.
Let me make one thing clear to Jay:
You are a nobody in the grand scheme of things. Super Bowl winners, All-Pros and proven playoff performers have been cut this off season and you are bitching and complaining about "almost" being traded?
Donovan McNabb cried about being benched, but at least he went out in the field and proved why he shouldn't be on the bench. What have you proved Jay except that you are being a baby?
Know you role, shut your mouth and if you want to prove people wrong stop choking down the stretch and make it to the playoffs. Then you can talk.

Where you find that picture?
What is your position Jay?
"Quarte.........."
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU POSITION IS!!!
I get your point about where Cutler stands in comparison to other players and how trading is part of the biz. But I tend to lean towards Cutler's side here. Yes there have been alot of players to get traded but almost none have been quite in the same position as Cutler. Keep in mind that Favre didnt get traded until way past his expiration date. McNabb has also had much more time to guide the Eagles to a championship; a task at which he has failed despite the presence of talent like TO and Brian Westbrook. However if the NFL was just about the biz and if the world made sense then shouldnt Carson Palmer, Tony Romo, Marc Bulger, and Matt Hasslebeck be up on the trade block too?
Im FedEX'ing you a big jar of popcorn so theyre's no excuses this year Rob.
While I do get the fact that players get traded/benched/cut, think about it from a different perspective.
You have a job in a company, and a new manager comes in. Just a few weeks into their new position, and you find out they're trying to replace you with someone else. Their plan fails, so they pretty much have to settle for you even though most likely they don't want to. Aren't you going to feel absolutely shafted? What's the point of working hard for someone that doesn't want you in the first place? I'm no Dr. Phil, but i'm going to guess that's where Cutler's mind is at this point.
