It happens every year around this time. Everyone wants to see what shoes the NBA All-Stars are going to wear...at least, the Nike athletes (if I had some adidas contacts, I'd show you those).

The one shown before the jump is the Hyperdunk for the Nike athletes on the Eastern Conference team. From my folks at Osneaker.com:

I'm not the biggest sneaker guy, but Nike has done some good work already in calendar year 2009, with the Inauguration shoes (Mike Bibby still thanks Nike for them) and the Hyperdunks (and late in 2008, if any of you have seen what the new Kobe Air Zooms look like, you know what you will be wearing very soon...). Here is one of the special limited edition pairs of Nike Foamposite Lite All Star Game 2009 West. This pair was made for the players of the 2009 All Star Game West team. These were limited to less than 200 pairs. This years All Star Team is full with the best of the best Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tim Duncan and Yao Ming will all be sporting their respective shoes. We can expect some of the roll players to be sporting these bad boys. These are by far one of the most unique pair of Nike sneakers we have seen in 2009.

I just wanted to share some piece of information for those looking out to buy exercise shoes. It’s very important to shop for the right shoes without being carried away by the mirrors, lights, great displays and other such luring factors where you often tend to forget the comfort of the shoe.

Another interesting point to notice is that our feet tend to swell a bit in the evening so buying shoes during evening is the ideal time as this will help you buy the shoe for the maximum foot size. Most important of all is don’t go by the pricing of the shoes while buying them. A high price does not always mean top quality. The price tends to be higher since the shoes are endorsed by reputed personalities. Buy your shoes based on the frequency of usage. If you are in a regular exercise routine, then you can consider extending your budget.
