Yeah these things just write themselves. T.O. is apparently giving the viewers the chance to see what his life is like off-the-field and away from the Dallas Cowboys.
VH1 has given the green light to a reality show chronicling the life of former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens.
The still untitled series will bow on the MTV Networks owned channel in summer, 2009.
"We are thrilled to bring such a great athlete, who is one of the biggest names and personalities in all the world of sports to VH1 for a surprising high octane look inside his superstar life off the field," said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming & Production, announcing the pickup.
The series will follow Owens as he tries to find success off the playing field, flanked by his friends and publicists Monique Jackson and Kita Williams
This should be interesting I'm not much of a reality TV fan though so I probably won't watch but I'm sure for those that are would be interested. If anything this tells me that once his contract is up with the Cowboys he has to think of his life after the NFL and this is what he's probably hoping will transition him to possibly being a star in Hollywood. Of course one would think it would've been easier to join Dancing with the Stars instead.
