In what was possibly the best game of the college bowl season, Colt McCoy, and his one loss Texas team, came from behind to take the win from The Ohio State Buckeyes.
McCoy brilliantly hit Quan Cosby for a 26-yard touchdown with 16 seconds to play, pushing the third-ranked Longhorns to a 24-21 victory over No. 10 Ohio State on Monday night. The dramatic pass play capped an 11-play, 78-yard drive that took only 1:42.
The Ohio State Buckeyes had control of the game early, led by the punishing running of Beanie Wells, who had oover 100 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. The defense even stopped the high powered Texas offense for most of the game. In the end it was a controversial call and the play of McCoy that proved to be the difference.
On the controversial call in question, Colt McCoy passed to the right flat to James Kirkendoll at the Ohio State 40. he was hit and dropped at the spot. The ref closest to the play marked the ball short of the marker and it looked as though the Bucks had stopped the Horns. An official seemingly from 50 yards came in and spotted the ball slightly over the 40 for the first down. The Buckeyes challenged the spot, but the spot was upheld, setting the stage for Colt to continue the drive. Now, I am not saying that this was the play that sealed the fate of the Buckeyes, ( when Rob Rose dropped what was basically a pass thrown to him by Colt would be more accurate), but it was key.
All in all the Longhorns did enough to win in the second half...period.

You know Littal is sick
what a "picture perfect moment" to see. Probably the one of the worst and most over done endings for a college football game. I am disappointed, if for no other reason, that for that one.
