It doesn't matter to me who wins between Oklahoma vs. Florida in the fictional National Championship game because in reality we have no real national championship with Seven teams with just 1 defeat and 2 undefeated teams.
Let me show you the twisted logic of the BS system. What is the number reason that Florida is in the National Championship game? It is because they beat the number one team in the country on a neutral site. Now Texas did the exact same thing. They beat Oklahoma then the #1 team in the country on a neutral field.
They both have one loss. Florida at home against Ole Miss and Texas on the road at Texas Tech.
Now you tell me who more deserves to be in the Championship game?
The point I am trying to make is that this isn't a Perry Mason TV Movie. We shouldn't have to go through 1001 scenarios to explain why one team is better than another. Cases can be made for all of the teams involve and that is the problem.
I have no issue with Oklahoma and Florida playing for the fictional national championship, but that is all it is a "paper championship".
A true champion should be decided on the field not when they get their first lose (see Florida) or how many 60 points game they can put up to impress the voters (see Oklahoma). A true champion doesn't care about running through a gauntlet of teams to prove they are the best.
The system isn't changing anytime soon, but don't worry I will continue writing articles about how absurd this BS system is.

We are going to kick ohio state ass
Why don't you discuss how Ohio State got special treatment? Mr. Alumni?
Could we play a big ten team instead?
please don't pick us
I'm so frustrated with the BCS this year that I may just watch Lifetime.
What special treatment did Ohio State get? They were the highest ranked eligible BCS Conference team. After watching Ball State fumble away an undefeated season against a nobody and Hawaii get wrecked by a 2 loss team last year, who wants to a second non-BCS conference team in a big game. One is enough and the best one got picked (Utah).
All of this is a matter of opinion and a matter of money. Ohio State is in because OSU will make more in advertising dollars than Boise State. No one knows which one is better. We can't say that Utah is better than BSU.
The only way the college football will ever get fixed is to remove the tax exempt status from the bowl games. This was first mentioned in an article on Foxsports.com and I happen to agree with the premise.
I couldn't agree with you more, but I also think the Big 12 is at fault for using a faulty system to determine who should play in the Big 12 championship. Texas, Penn State, Boise State, USC, Alabama, Utah and Texas tech all can make a case as to why they should be playing on the eighth of January. The sad thing about this idiot system is that there is no ending to this madness in sight. I think the issue will not be revisited until 2015.
don't hate just watch on Jan 8th & appreciate! GO SOONERS!!!!!!!!!!!
