Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand" - Matthew 12:25
CHECK OUT HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EAGLES DESTRUCTION OF THE COWBOYS:
The Cowboys found this out first hand on today against the Eagles. As I type this, the game is coming to an end and I can not help but think back at all the division that has been suggested throughout the year in assessing where the Cowboys went wrong. Of course most of this so called division was a media creation or was it? Receivers questioning quarterback motives saying that he does not read the whole play and instead goes to Whitten too often. Another receiver saying before the last game of the season (poor timing and poor way to express it) that they brought him there and they know what he can do and he needs more touches. Owners calling out running backs known for his toughness for his lack of toughness. Defensive players saying that the coaching staff is not accountable and also saying they too think a receiver needs the ball more. Finally, an owner who says that he enjoys it all. And I didn't even mention the destraction known as Pacman Jones. The problem with the Cowboys is their culture and is not personnel driven.
Certain players have a history of selfishness and its no coincidence that wherever they go the same fractions seem to develop. Too many players are out in the front expressing what direction they think the team needs to go in and not enough players willing to simply follow. The defense has an opinion on the quarterback, the owner has an opinion on the RB, the receivers have an opinion on the offense and the game plans. Who among them is willing to buy into whatever the coach decides to do, and just go out and play? This is the question that the Cowboys, and more importantly, Jerry Jones needs to ask himself. He claims that chemistry is over-rated. After what was witnessed today, I don't know how he can stand by this statement. There were wrong routes ran, poor throws that screamed indecision from the quarterback, and a coach who was left scratching his head. Im going to give Jerry Jones some advice that he is sure to ignore; find a Bill Parcels/Jimmy Johnson type of football coach and let him run the team and get out of the way. A team with some of the most gifted players in football is going home because he has created a culture that is too permissive of individuality and selfishness. Again, a house divided against itself simply cannot stand and the Cowboys' house just came crashing down.

Don't blame romo blame Jerry Jones
